A Data Move is defined as an action that alters a dataset’s content, structure, and value. Examples could be including or excluding rows or columns. Modifying a dataset’s structure involves adjusting how cases, attributes, and values are connected. Changing a dataset’s values means editing the information inside the cells. To support teachers in carrying out data moves in CODAP, we have created a series of Data Move Briefs that provide a quick overview of each move with links to videos on how to carry out the move in CODAP.
